Temporary Candidates

We’re not strangers to being candidates, so we treat our candidates like we’d like to be treated ourselves. We provide all candidates with respect and sensitivity throughout the application process and treat your information with confidence. We’re looking for professionally presented candidates who know what they’re looking for and are confident in their approach.

We endeavour to make personal contact with all our applicants; however as a minimum we will acknowledge your online application with a personal email.

All candidates are required to submit a current CV and at least 2 verbal referees. After initial telephone contact with one of our consultants, you may be invited for a personal one-on-one interview. Interviews typically last up to 1 1/2 hours and involve thorough questions designed to give us a complete view of your skills and background. Meeting a consultant one-on-one provides the opportunity to develop a solid working relationship, as well as review your Employment Agreement and health and safety requirements in full.

Once registered with Career Team, you become one of the Team. As your Job Finder, our purpose is to provide short and long term job opportunities to you and to represent you in a fair and professional manner. We aim for long-term relationships with our candidates; no matter how long your work assignment we’ll be looking to place you over and over again.

 

Permanent Candidates

We take your career as seriously as you do. Our in-depth interview process is designed to help us understand the detail of your prior employment experience, recognise your strengths and identify your desired areas of development. By discussing your career goals and ideal working environment we are better placed to find a role that will meet your needs now and as your career develops.

We’re expecting that you have already put some serious thought into your career direction and have a good idea of the role and industry your career search is targeting. If you're feeling a little lost, we can also refer you to experienced Career Practitioners. Our interview focuses on your core skills, previous responsibilities and career achievements so that we can represent you most effectively. Your interview will include a discussion regarding appropriate verbal references as we complete reference checks for every permanent candidate that we represent.

Like everything else we do, our approach to working with candidates is a collaborative one. Open and honest communication is paramount to our success and we expect the same from our candidates. Our consultants work hard to create relationships with prospective employers that result in opportunities difficult to find elsewhere. Unearthing new opportunities is a focus of our everyday operations.
