Alexis Siermans

As Director of a busy recruitment team, mother of two (Mitchell and Poppy), wife of one (Frank), new puppy owner (Finn) and who knows what else to many others!!! Its amazing I have even found time to introduce myself!!

Born in Dublin, educated in New Zealand, travelled everywhere, I currently live north of Auckland with my husband and two children on a farm near Puhoi -  there is not too much “downtime” in my life with full time work and family commitments as well as commuting daily!!

Most of my unscheduled time is spent dedicated to children's sport and activities and of course those property chores! And wherever I can, fitting in some sort of health and exercise regime! Although those 10kms walks are not much fun after dark!!! So we tramp as a family as much as we can, making the most of what our amazing region has to offer.

Having spent over twenty years in recruitment I feel privileged to have met some amazing individuals and worked with many interesting companies. Long may it last!

Linzie Sutton

I am a Recruitment Consultant at Career Team, and have been in the recruitment industry in England and New Zealand since the late nineties.  My career break came to have my two lovely children who are now both at primary school.

I enjoy meeting people in my professional and personal life.  There are so many fascinating (and sometimes amusing) things you can learn just in everyday conversations and meetings.  Fortunately for me, I have the chance to meet many different personalities in this job!! 

When I am not at work, I enjoy a good family life – hectic, but enjoyable.  We have just completed the Otago Rail Trail and over the last 12 months I have completed 4 half marathons (I wonder if this means I have now done 2 marathons?  I don’t know if I will get away with that!!).  I regularly attend aerobics classes, although I sometimes suspect it’s more for the coffee with friends afterwards than the actual exercise!!

Lynette Lamont

I have been involved in the recruitment industry for the past 15 years working as both a Temporary and Permanent Consultant, recruiting for various industries and for candidates from office juniors through to senior level roles.  As a Temporary Consultant, I enjoy the variety of my role with no two days ever being the same, meeting new candidates and clients on a daily basis.

Sean and I have been married for 7 years and we have two children, Ben is 5 and Jessica is 3.  I enjoy a fun family life and weekends are extremely busy with soccer, swimming and lots of playdates with the children. 

Whilst the family is out, Archie the cat and the 4 goldfish breathe a sigh of relief with the peace and quiet!!! I also enjoy boating, travelling and relaxing with a good book or a good TV drama!

Sarah Simmonds

Being a career temp for most of my working life has allowed me the flexibility and income to pursue my passions of travel, adventure and raising a child. But now, cast aside from school camps and sports days, I have overcome my “commitment phobia” to become a permanent fixture with Career Team.

As Candidate Resource Manager I can continue my long standing relationships with both the dedicated consultants and clients at Career Team plus offer you the opportunity to experience the diverse, enjoyable working life of being a professional temp.

Rafaela Fearnley

Born and raised in the Brazilian metropolis of Rio de Janeiro, I came to New Zealand 3 years ago with my (scouser) husband, Scott, to "settle down" and enjoy a peaceful lifestyle. We have purchased our first home on the North Shore last year.

In addition to working full-time at Career Team and doing house renewals, I'm also studying part-time extramurally towards a Bachelor of Communication degree (major in Marketing Communication), and I finished a Certificate in WebDesign last year, this website is my first "baby".

On top of all of that, I find time to go to Pilates classes and for a nice jog around Lake Pupuke twice a week. I also love playing my guitar and singing (you'd hate to be my neighbour!)

You can count on me to smoothly run the Career Team office, and to greet you with a warm smile every time!

Debbie Francis

I look after the accounts and, most importantly, payroll. I’m an import from England; I came over with my family in 2000 and settled up on the Hibiscus Coast.

I am married to Mike, a Gym Manager and we have two children, Lewis 15 and Katherine 12. They are the centre of my life… most of the time (little angels).

I enjoy keeping fit (well I have to say that), reading, chocolate and singing. I am a member of the Hibiscus Coast Choir and have been a part of the Starlight Symphony concert for the past 3 years. I can say I have sung with Dame Kiri Te Kanawa.

I hate Brussels Sprouts and late timesheets!
