I have been working in and around recruitment for over twenty years now and have recently joined Career Team as a permanent consultant. Prior to entering into the recruitment space, I’ve had a long and successful career in sales and advertising across a broad range of industry sectors.
I believe the key to being a successful recruiter is to take the time to explore not just the hard and soft skills required for the role but to understand the intangibles of the role. While this may take a little longer initially, the time is well spent as it enables me to move quickly and in a more targeted way to deliver long lasting outcomes for my clients. Building long term relationships and gaining this kind of insight into your company is for me, one of the joys of recruitment.
On a personal note, I live with my husband, 19 year old daughter, three horses and 4 cats on a 5 acre block in Dairy Flat. After nearly 12 years of DIY home renovation, my husband and I have just about completed our home –an absolute marathon.! When not doing DIY – I can be found out at horse shows, supporting our daughters’ aspirations in show hunter – the pretty version of show jumping.
